| Monday, April 07 2008 - Website Administrator Wanted | | Northern United is looking for a new website administrator. The incumbent will be going overseas next year and we need someone who can spare a few hours a month to look after the website. We want to get someone into this position as soon as possible to ensure a smooth hand over.
So if you or anyone you know could do this please get in touch with Men's Club Captain Luke Gaskin at contact at northernunited.org.nz. | | NUHC Executive @ 8:56 PM | 0 Comments |

| Monday, December 25 2006 - Next Social Event | | We are planning the next Club Social at the moment and are tossing around a few ideas. At the moment we have two popular suggestions: a cocktail party, or a mid-winter-Chirstmas theme, but we want to hear from club members to help us decide!
If anyone says mud-wrestling (and we know who you are) they will be fined and exiled!
All feasible suggestions will be considered :) | | Andrew Slade @ 12:32 AM | 0 Comments |

| Monday, December 25 2006 - Online Registration | | Wow! Sport from the future is here!
We have added an online registration feature this year and by-in-large people have taken to it very well.
What do you think of the process? Uneccessary? Awesome? Confusing?
Give us your suggestions and feedback. | | Andrew Slade @ 12:32 AM | 12908 Comments |

| Friday, September 08 2006 - Jubilee | | So the Jubilee went of without a hitch! Great work from everyone involved.
What did everyone else think about the weekend - I know it's been a month now but I'm sure there are still some impressions left now that everyone has had time to mull over it? | | Andrew Slade @ 1:31 PM | 0 Comments |

| Friday, September 08 2006 - Fundraising | | We have received considerably less this year in funding from the community trust.
In the interests of keeping hockey moderately affordable, we need some fundraising ideas, but most importantly, all-hands-on-deck to follow through with any initiatives.
We welcome any feedback or thoughts you may have. | | Andrew Slade @ 1:31 PM | 0 Comments |

| Friday, September 08 2006 - Referees | | Wellington Hockey today announced that two more of their senior umpires are 'chucking it in.' They site the attitude of P1 coaches and players as their main motive for leaving.
Does the umpire have more responsibility to take control of games that may be getting out of hand? Is this the mark of a 'top' umpire, or should there be more emphasis on players and coaches learning to be more self-disciplined, and respect the decisions of an umpire - as is often exhibited in sports like netball? | | Andrew Slade @ 1:31 PM | 0 Comments |
